7 minutes in heaven

Another set of lips crashed against mine. Fast, yet gently. He parted before i could enjoy the kiss fully. I opened my eyes and looked at the person who had kissed me. My body temperature dropped and shivers ran from my neck to the bottom of my spine. I couldn’t believe my eyes! Oh I hoped I was imagining things! The shadow king (Kyouya Ootori) had kissed me!! My family had always been one step behind theirs and we were to compete with each other for the rest of our lives, yet he kissed me! What’s even worse is that, I enjoyed it. “My god! I Am so dead if anyone saw that.” I thought. As the dread rushed through me, Kyouya put up his defenses again, and said calmly, “What are you freaking out about? It’s just a kiss. Unless, it was your first one?” BULLSEYE!! BIG TIME CRAP! I answered, a little too loud, “O-of course not! Kissing is nothing new to me. It’s like a greeting now because I’ve kissed so many people including guys. I have no clue what you’re talking about! How could you even think that?” While I was talking, I thought I saw a bit of anger, but I dismissed it as quickly as it came because the perfect Ootori’s third son wouldn’t show emotions. With that, I walked away. All day long, my head was clouded with thoughts of him kissing me. Suddenly, an idea came to me, that made me feel prickly inside, “… how many people has he kissed? Ahh! Am I jealous?? Oh no. I’d better not be! Why should I even care how many and who he kisses anyway?” The whole day passes in the blink of an eye. I wrote notes that didn’t even make sense, and I lost track of conversations so many times that I had lost count. After school, I went to the host club and asked for Haruhi. I was one of the few people who knew she was a girl. Haruhi greeted me with a kiss on the hand and led me to my usual seat. Thank god that Kyouya-sempai wasn’t here yet. When she sat down, I blurted everything out as quietly as I could. She gently patted my back and said, “I’ll help you with whatever I can, but I can’t get too involved with your business or else Tamaki will say annoying things again. Truthfully, Kyouya-sempai scares the crap out of me and I’ll route for you and Kaoru.” With this, I said my thanks and left. My pink limousine was waiting for me at the entrance. I got into my car and we drove to my flower garden room. I told the driver to leave the keys and tell no one to come over for the rest of the night.  As I was changing, my cell phone rang. Haruhi said, “Come to the new train station with a change of clothes, and hurry!” I quickly dressed in a pink, frilly dress, put on pink heels, put my favorite pair of jeans and a tee-shirt in a bag and grabbed the keys to a mini cube car then left. I got to the station in four minutes and I saw Haruhi, Hikaru and Kaoru! Yay! I quickly gave huge thanks to Haruhi in my mind and ran towards them. They greeted me with simple “heys” and we got on the train. I was so happy that I even forgot to ask where we were going. However, when we got to our destination, my mood sky rocketed, but then I saw Kyouya, my mood fell inconsiderably. We were at a karaoke room with a handful of girl’s fans and the host club members. Haruhi whispered, “Tamaki wanted to play a common people’s game, so we rented the biggest karaoke room to play 7 minutes in heaven.” A game that lets you pick a number and the person with the same number go into a closet together for 7 minutes. From there, none except the people in the closet know what happens. I crossed both of my fingers and picked a number. I got #6. Then, Kaoru shouted, “Who has number 6?” I screamed, but then quickly clasped my mouth closed. I quietly scooted next to Kaoru, loving the gods and my luck. In one of my happiest moments, Kyouya comes to me and says that number is a 9 not a 6. At first, I thought I heard wrong, but Kaoru said, “Oh, you’re right. My bad.” My blood drained from my face and I was dragged from my seat next to Kaoru and had to sit next to my new partner, Kyouya. As I waited for our turn to come, my dread grew and grew. Finally, Tamaki called #9 and by then, my feet felt like rocks. Kyouya led me into the closet and we heard the lock. I leaned against the wall and sighed thinking, “Let’s get this over with.” Suddenly, Kyouya was right in front of me, and he touched my face. I tried to shove him away, but he wouldn’t budge. He held my face gently in his two hands. I slapped his hand away. He looked at me and once more put his hands on my face more firmly and crushed his lips against mine. I was so surprised that I didn’t notice it at first. He kissed me until my knees gave out and I couldn’t breathe. I was kicking and hitting him that my muscles started to hurt. Tears welled in my eyes and I was hurting so much that I lost all my senses and let my tears fall. Kyouya pulled away at last, and I gasped for air, until my lungs started aching. Kyouya gently reached and wiped my tears away. At that moment, I realized that I liked him, and that was a part of my tears. Gently, he kissed my cheeks and in my ear he whispered, “I love you. I always have.” Then, we heard voices outside the door and I thought, “7 minutes are up.” However, the door shook and wouldn’t open. Kyouya started chuckling softly and said, “Want to ditch them?” I also realized that these faces and emotions were only seen by me and that made me so happy that I kissed him without thinking, and said, “Let’s ditch them.” From this point on, I’ll let your imaginations take part. Although, this is the end of my story, I’m sure they had lots of “fun” together.
